HI
ISSUE : Actually we have to post 4 no's from storage location 1500 FNWP to 1500 BSTR
.by MB1B T.Code.But System takes 1,001.96gms automatically. *( movement type 911 E ) ( they want to post in units EA )*
Solution : In material master data classification tab given material conversion so when we raise mb1b then automatically it is converted to GRAMS
Is it correct ?
Dear,
First you have to change in Material master Goto MM02 => Basic data 1 => additional data => unit of measure => then enter 1 EA = ur gram-age.
Then goto MB1B => it take by default gram press f4 and change gram into EA.
I thing it will solve you mater.
Thanks

This is not correct. The base unit should be in ea and unit of issue should be gms. You need to maintain the conversion 1ea=1000gms.

can it be that this material is a customizable material with a variable units?
e.g. like glass in a size of 300 * 300 * 5 s standard, a variant would be a cutted glass 300 * 100 * 5.
the error message class XU indicates that it is related to batch specific units of measure.
further the long text clearly says that it can be overwritten, have you tried that?
What happens if you change it again to 4 NOs
before we continue, can you clarify the unit of measures in this scenario.
the message says: UNE was replaced by the product un gms
you said: they want issue in EA
what is the base unit of the material?
are UNE and EA maintained as alternative units?
what is the unit used in the the sales order?
Hi,
If you want to post the material with EA, maintain the unit of measure in material master as EA which inturn can beposted with EA in MB1B. Thanking you.

Conversion unit takes from "Unit of issue" field in Material master Plant data/ Storage location view, same unit picks in MB1B
