How to find a particular infoprovider under Multiprovider.

Hello Experts,

I have a question related to Multiproviders.

I have a report, that report is under multiprovider and in that multiprovider there are several infoproviders.

I want to find for that report how the data is fetching through which infoprovider under that multiprovider.

tried by identifying the related keyfigures in the report and searched in multiprovider fields and right click select Assign.

But unfortunately, that key figure was avaialble in several infoproviders. How do i know..for the particular report data is fetching from which info provider under the multiprovider.

What are the different possible ways .

Thanks,

SN.

Hi,

In the report go to datapackage tab

there you can see two options Infoprovider and Request ID.

You can create some customised query copying existing query and pull these objects in free charateristics for drilldown.

It will help you in analysing the situation faster

Thanks and regards

Hi,

The approach you followed is correct, basically when you check the characteristic assignment in multiprovider the assign popup shows you exactly the mapping of key fig. or characteristic with all the underlying infoproviders.

For e.g. if for a particular key figure data is coming from two different infoproviders and in the query you want to check from which infoprovider it is coming then you will have to check explicitly that whether there is any restriction on 0INFOPROV characteristic in the query filter or RKF.

If there is no explicit restriction in the query on infoprovider means data will be extracted from all the underlying infoproviders.

Identify one case in report

RSA1 --> Select Multiprovider > Right Click> Display Data--> Here Under Datapackage you will get field Infoprivider.

using Infoprivider field you can idetify your source of Infoprovider.

When you will display the data from the required multiprovider (steps for displaying data is mentioned above), select the field 0INFOPROVIDER in data package column and execute.

In this way yuo can see which data is coming from which infoprovider.
