    Hi Nachy,

This is an interesting requirement. As because you have a single instance of ECC system, I believe the system alias for the UWL webflow connector will be the same in each of the 3 portals. Usually, the UWL shows all the registered workitems in business inbox. You will need to tweak the UWL xml for each portal in such way that only the respective LSO,Erec and XSS(ESS,MSS) workitems are registered.

    Hope this helps,

    Regards,

    Roy

      Hi Nachy,

In case of single UWL, you need to deploy all the applications for the corresponding workitems. For example:- The workitems belonging to LSO/Erec will launch the respective applications. If the application packages are not deployed, it will not work. You will need to configure the tasks for the workitems in SWFVISU by adding the application and application parameters which the workitems will use to launch the applications.

For the concepts of System Alias /Webflow connector/XML Config, refer to the document that Saurabh has mentioned in his post. Additionally you can also refer the following link. http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwce10/helpdata/en/9d/eb088f8e6347bcbdf666433f05da57/frameset.htm

      Hope this helps.

UWL pulls data from ECC using a XML..

This XML is auto generated based on configured system (which points to ECC).

    Now in your case...

    You have 1 ECC instance

    and 3 portal instance...i.e. EP1, EP2, EP3

Now Because system registration will be same in all EP1, EP2, EP3 for UWL...because there is only 1 ECC system...

terefore to separate tasks that belong to

    LSO - EP1

    Erec - EP2

    XSS(ESS,MSS) - EP3

you will have to edit the XML as per your requirements.

i.e. in EP1 XML configuration for UWL should only contain Tasks specific to LSO

in EP2 XML configuration for UWL should only contain Tasks specific to Erec

in EP3 XML configuration for UWL should only contain Tasks specific to ESS/MSS

This is what i believe should happen in your case...I hope experts comment on the same...........

UWL is mapped to ECC using connectors, so if it connected correctly with the system it will pull in the workitems
