RE: Opening of financial year in Asset Accounting Module

After closing a financial year in Asset Accounting Module can we reopen that particular financial year in asset accounting.

    Yes, you can open the year in Asset accounting. You have to go and change the last closed fiscal year in OAAQ transaction code. You will also have to close again if you open through OAAQ

    But at any point of time only two financial years can be open in Asset accounting.

    For Entire company code (ie all depreciation areas) OAAQ

    For specific depreciaiton area in a company code = OAAR

    You can re-open only for two finanancial years and you have to open previous periods from FI as well at OB52
