Price differences in Single level material price determination

HI:

I am not clear about the price differences that arise due to

1..invoice receipts

2..settlement of production orders

3..transfer posting

I am clear about he deviation in price resulting due to GR from PO that differ from the Standard price as maintained in material master but not about the above mentioned..Please guide
