'Valid to' date on Profit Centre not updating correctly

Hi,

I have updated a number of profit centres with a new 'valid to' date, PRCT_V-DATBI from transaction KCH5N. Dates changed were 31/12/9999 to 01/01/2011. Data saves successfully.

These changes are seen when accessing the master record through KS53.

But when viewing the Profit Centre Master Data Index KE5X, the valid to date is still 31/12/9999.This is also the case when doing an F4 search when attemptig to enter a Profit Centre when possible.

Further investigation shows the dates have not been updated in table CEPC, Profit Centre Master Data Table, CEPC-DATBI.

Does anyone know why these changes are not getting pulled across?

Thanks for your help in advance.

    Hi

    Try this for one PC

Go to KE52 and change the Validity date.. After that, activate the PC once again..

If that works, you can set up an LSMW

In KCH5N, did you activate the PCs after change?

    Hi Ajay,

I tried changing it through KE52 as per you recommendation, but was not successful.

If I activate the PC in KCH5N, the validity date resets itself to 31/12/9999, even if I also change the analysis date.

Thanks for your help, any other ideas?

    Regards, Hamish
