LSMW ISSUE

hi experts,

I have to upload material master through LSMW & stock also my question is wheather i have to use lsmw different for material & stock upload or I use combine lsmw for stock upload & material upload how to achieve combine both?

You cannot run both the transactions at the same time.

First you need to upload the material master and then upload the stock.

For material master you need to use BDC. Its not possible to use LSMW easily.

For material upload use LSMW. Very easy.

Both activity are different so that we should not use one upload program. Both are run with different transactions.

So, My suggestion is use different upload programs for material master and stock updation.

In LSMW it lets you choose only one uploading program at a time per object. So you'd have to do the material master (objec 0020) upload first and then stock upload (object 0110).

Dear Sangita,

You should run LSMW twice. "one time for Material master upload second for material stock".

So first create LSMW for uploading material master for T-code MM01 and complete the recording and upload the file.then Create LSMW for T-code MB1C and create recording and upload file.

Dear Sangita,

In lSMW when we do the recording there is provision for one T. code at a time so you need to do it in separate recording.

But you can create one LSMW ,create 1 Project under that project create 2 sub projects 1 for Material upload and another for stock upload.

To upload material master record and to upload stock are different things

to upload stock you have to use movement type 561 and t-code also different for that and system will generate accounting document for same in system
