Subcon PO appearing in ME2O before approval

Hi Experts,

I have created Subcon PO, which is not yet approved.

I can see this PO - under ME2O (SC Stock Monitoring for Vendor).

Is it correct system behavior - Can you throw some light..

a delivery to a subcontractor is not PO related. you can do such deliveries with ME2O even without having a PO there.

Your approval in the PO is just for the subcontracting fee, not for the material movement.

Without own development you will not be able to restrict this.

Ya its the standard behavior..

It might cause of the fact that we can issue materials to job worker even without a purchase order.. am i correct Madhavi../?

Can we restrict issue of materials to job worker if without PO.. in standard procedure..??

If its normal system behavior.

What if, user creates delivery before PO approval.

Is thr any workaround to control this?

Hi,

Yes its teh standard behavior by teh system where in the movement you create subcon PO raised for that particular vendor then system shows the monitoring stock in ME2O even before its approval since its to confirm the PO qty raised for that vendor.
