How to assign a alternative date from an EC to a BOM

Hi, all

I've found a FM called "CCAP_ASSIGN_OBJECT_TO_ALT_DATE" through the link: [http://help.sap.com/saphelp_40b/helpdata/en/92/58b4e8417011d189ec0000e81ddfac/content.htm]

but I have no clue how to use it.

Could anyone offer me a example?

hi chan,

it is used for assinging alternate date for an object which has been created....jst call that function module...giv alt date ,change object num,& object type...object type have some categories like material see according to your requirement
