Hi,
I would to know what is the best practice for deleting the completed work items from the system, if you have any recommendation that would be great. Transaction to delete is SWWL. Is their any value of keeping the completed workitems? If you have any suggestions, please let me know.
Thanks.
Jean
As Rick said, don't use SWWL. The work items can contain important audit trail to documents (for example approval information about invoices, purchases, etc.) and deleting them might lead you to serious problems. Go with the archiving if necessary. Read first the general documentation about SAP data archiving to get the idea of it.

Karri

Hello,
You should archive completed workflows, not delete them. You should never use SWWL. Never.
How long you keep completed workflows "live" before archiving depends on the company you work for.
I would wait at least a year before archiving.
