OACT Account Type

Is there a way to determine the account type, "Balance Sheet" or "Profit and Loss" account from OACT?

It seems like there should be a Parent > Child relationship OACT > OACG but it seems that "Category" column values in OACT is null.

I was hoping there was a way to determine the account type from a data column or relationship of some kind that could be used in a SQL query.

    Hi Ken,

If the account type is Other, it is for "Balance Sheet". Otherwise, it is for "Profit and Loss".
