how to manualy create SID for infocube while loading data from psa ti IC

M talking about BI 7.0 extraction,when i load data from psa to infocube one error has came,in dtp it show that error msg is "no SID is created for cube",,so frnds plz tell me how to create SID manualy..

Hi,

SIDs are never created manually.

They are created while data loading. So in your case see what is error in SM64.

You can load your master data and activate it and see if error get resolved.

Go to RSRV and check your cube and master data if you found error with any master data.

Whatever the business (HR, FI/CO, SD, MM etc) u use, in SAP BI, it is the best practice to master data first and then the transaction data.

Hi,

First of all, SIDs are never created manually. These are created automatically at the time of data load. You are getting this error most probably because you have not loaded master data before loading the transactional data in the cube.

Hence first load the master data and then try to execute data load for the concerned cube. This would solve your problem.

First u load master data this helps to generating of SID and then after u want to load transaction data

this helps to no errors occur in Sid generation
