Last PO price to be display at the time of creating or releasing of PO.

can we display last po price on creation of po screen or releasing of PO. or by day way we can use any feild on item level for the material n vendor.

Hi Sayed,

Standard SAP does not have provision of displaying last PO price on ME21N screen but consider below points:

1. Whenever user creates a PO , it should autoatically pick the last PO price in net price field - so you have last PO price there.

2. If you want a report showing last PO price for combination of vendor, materia, plant etc you can use ME1P transaction code.

You did not mention the business requirement why you need last PO price in ME21N and why having a separate report (via ME1P) is not sufficient.

Hi expert

My purchasing head dont have much time to check the price, going into transaction n check all that.

we required any kind of display or an addtional tab, wher we can see price of last 3 po price.

So while realsing on the po screen, he can see the price.

Hi,

As I said there is not standard tab avaialble which gives you this information and definately needs an ABAPer help and development. But I would still avoid that as it does not make sense to have developement for something which can be achiveved using stabdard transaction (though not in ME21N tcode like you want). However, you can still try below option:

There must be a PIR associated with material/vendor combo for which you are creating PO, so as soon as buyer populates material, vendor in ME21N - system automatically populates PIR number in item overview screen. Buyer can double click on that PIR number which will take him to PIR screen and there select "Environment-->Order Price History (or Shift+F6)" and it will show buyer the last PO price.

HI,

why you are not going with quotation and quotation comparison and Po also create with quotation which is approved by your Purchasing head .

Or else which the help of abap consultant you have to develop field in such way that it will reflect last three Po price for that item line and you have to modify item overview of PO with help of ABAP consultant

table will help for same is

EKKO and EKKPO

But question is how you will come to know about last three PO ,by Po creation date ,I am not sure

Hi,

If you are not happy with ME1P or ME1M or ME1L report, then you can go for development.

As you are on creation/release of PO with a transaction code which is a committed document and want to know price of last purchase material price, then you need/have to for another transaction code.

As you said your Purchasing Head do not have much time to check the price, then you need to go for sophistication by designing a separate screen with having concept with few options:

Option-1:

You can add another TAB in PO header where you can drag down all price of material which in the PO

Option-2:

Go for creation new screen (for releasing PO) where you can have all unreleased PO with have price of material of last purchased. Here, just release PO and after update in this screen, it will update in PO.

#For above you need few intellectual ABAPers with proper deigned, well explained a Functional Specification by a Functional consultant.
