Hi,

Do you know the principles of expiration and locking sessions Business One ?

After how much idle time the session is she killed? Can we change this setting in the SBO or SDK?

Thanks

Hello

The locking (screen locking) can be managed by SAP B1 client, in general settings, but it is per user (on general settings)! The default value is 30 minutes.

The sessions are never killed by SAP B1. Only SQL server kills the long idle processes, or SLOW processes in w2k3 servers. IN SAP b1, the client is checking in every 1 minutes the alerts to be tgiggered, so the client is always "alive" and collected.

If your client is killed by SQL server, you can check the SQL server log. If it is a real running client, the w2k3 servers has a problem which kills the slow processes on server / network overload.

I hope this helps,

János

Hi,

I am afraid there is no option to check and update this. It would be determined by the combination of system resources. What is your goal for Managing B1 session?

Thanks,

Understanding of the mechanisms of expiration and locking sessions to prevent the user.

I am afraid this is better controlled from client side through Windows User.
