PR release strategy based on SLOC

I have a scenario. The PR are created department wise. In the legacy system the PR are created Department wise. I am suggesting to create the Sloc as the Department as there will be more than 22-23 Document types if I create the document types department wise.

I have tested the scenario for the release strategy at the item level for the PR documents as per the Department as the Storage location but I am worried about the authorization object available at the Sloc level. I need to restrict the user to create the PR for the Particular storage location only. How to control it. Is there any standard authorization object available for controlling this?

As per your scenario, storage location = department. If you have 22 storage locations and have restrictions on that level, when ever you create a PR then it is mandatory to have storage location to have your release triggered.

If you have document type = department and restrict the PR release at document type level it will be more convininent to assign the release strategy.
