Sorry, it is not possible

if the document is already posted, you cant change the document type as every document type has a number range and the document no is generated already. Doc no cannot be changed and the document type also cant be.

Also, Document type controls to which account type the document is posted to-Asset, Customer, Vendor, GL, Material.

unfortunately this is not possible because the document type is linked to the number range and a number was already assigned to the posted document.

For the future, You could think to build up an FI validation to be sure about the correct document type.
