What is the entry you see at the time of Asset Acquisition?

Normally, there won't be any depreciation while acquiring asset.

    Please clarify

    Thanks

Deprecication will not be posted at the time of acquisition of asset.

It will be posted after acquisition of asset by running depreciation run at AFAB

    dear

while acquisition we dont pass any depreciation entry. we set the capitalization date as depreciation start date if you want to start dep from the same date .this is the date from which the system will start calculating depreciation for asset. posting dep will take place during moth end or year end activities. we mauintain account determination in AO90 which allow the automatic entries to pass during AFAB.
