POC:Define Measurement method as Default Value

Hi,

For internal activities I am maintaining in SPRO, Time Porportionality and Work in Plan & Actual Methods as default values.

But even though it is showing the same in the Progress tab in the internal activity, the system is not calculating when you run Cne1.

Only when I am selecting Time Porportionality & Work methods, individualy for all the activities in the Progress tab, the system is doing the calculation in Cne1.

If I maintain the methods as default in SPRO, I think the sytem should do the calculation even if I do not select individualy for every activities.

2. Another point is, is there any way thru which I can maintain POC weight as 1 by default or any transaction for mass application?

Regards,

Abhra.

It is not possible to default Progress version for each activities, which you need to maintain manually. Once you select the progress version measurement method will default from SPRO settings.

Hi Abdul,

In SPRO, in 'Default Measurement Method as Default Value' you define the default value as per the Progression version only.

So u need not to select the progress version manually.

Kindly check.

You can not maintain progress Version for each activity in the project automatically by defaulting some where in SPRO, as there is no option for it. and also not possible through substitution.

without maintaining progress Version for each activity on the progress tab progress analysis / calculation wont work, so you have to maintain it manually or through some BDC.

Hi,

Please maintain default method for the order type, and run CNE1.

And use subsitution for placing 1 in all poc weight.

Thanking you

Hi Vengaiah Chowdary,

Thanks for your reply. I tried to do the substitution, but unfortunately I failed to find the POC weight as substitutional field. Can you pl. help me out if there be any other way to do the substitution.
