Absence type deducted in next year's quota

Hi Gurus,

Just want to ask your expert opinion on the issue i was encountering.

I created a quota for 2012 for an employee.

Then this personnel submitted leave for January 2012.

This absence type was deducted to the 2012 quota.

But the things is his 2011 quota is still valid and still has balances until March 2012.

Is there some configuration in the deduction that i missed to checked?

Greatly appreciate your inputs.

Thanks.

here's the quota details:

start date end date quota deduction from deduction to

1/1/2011 12/31/2011 Vacation 01/01/2011 03/31/2012

1/1/2012 12/31/2012 Vacation 01/01/2012 12/31/2012

the leave submitted was January 3-5, 2012.

and it was deducted to 2012 Vacation quota

Hi,

Check the deduction priorities area for deduction rule of that particular absence quota.(deduction from, to). Priporities 1, 2 and, Ascending, descending orders..selections..

Hi,

Check Both Quota types are Same or Not, because in first line validity start from 01/01/2011 to 03/31/2012 up to March ending

Second one Strat from 01/01/2012 to 12/31/2012 i.e December ending..

Might be different Quota types, If not check check with PT50 Quota overview for Expanding the Absence details..

You need to check deduction rule also incase of different Quota types for priority of Quota.

Need to confirm How you generating Quota also i.e through Time Evalution or Manual..

Hi,

I think you have generated quota for calendar year from jan to dec and runned the rptqa00 so change the calendar days to financial year and run the prog may be your issue may get resolved.

Thanks
