How to restrict an order type w.r.t ABC Indicator of a Technical Object.

Hi All,

I want to use one particular order type only for those equipments & FLOCs which have a specific ABC Indicator assigned. For the rest of the equipments & FLOCs this order type should not be used.

Is there any functionality (enhancement / exit) which can be applied to achieve this requirment ?

Well from configuration, we don't have any control i.e. order type to the ABC indicator of technical object but, yes you can check this condition using exit 'IWO10002 - Customer check for order release', wherein you can check this indicator from the equipment or functional location master data.

You can also use the exit 'IWO10009 - Customer Check for 'Save' Event', this will check irrespective of the status of the order. You can warn or stop the processing and ask the user to change the equipment or change the order type.
