Hi Sap Experts,
I have query around the license keys that we issue to our clients - When their license key expires , does SAP B1 stop functioning completely or do you simply have no license to access the modules until such time as a new key has being installed?
I assume this is the case but would like the experts to confirm that a new key is alway neccessary in order to continue to use the Software after the key has expired.
Hi,
I can confirm you that a new key is alway neccessary in order to continue to use the Software after the key has expired. The database will be accessible whenever your client gets a valid license.
Thanks,
Gordon

Hi,
You cant access anymore when the license is expired, the purpose of the temporary license is usually for
testing. If license is expired you can always back date from the time settings, you can make you SBO running
if the date is lesser or equal than the license date.
If you want to continue for testing you can request again for 15 days license.
Thanks.

Clint

Hello Friend,
SAP has 2 type of license file one is temp license which has only 15 days validity and second is permanent which has life time.
SO whenever your temp license file expired SAP user will not open any SAP form it gives message "License has been expired" and user can not open any form .
But we have a option after back the server that then he makes the entries but dont do it live or production server.
Thanks
