Dear Experts,

I am using Dashboard Design and i need to get the data from one of the Universe which is based on SAP BI Query. For the connection purpose i should be using the LiveOffice connection.

Now when i use the LiveOffice connection, i am able to get the data and everything ok. But ! when user wants to refresh the LiveOffice connection to get the latest data, we should have Refresh button to get the data.

I am not able to see the LiveOffice connection in Dashboard Design Data Manager area. The Live Office connection shows under Existing connection area and cannot see the same in Refresh button properties also.

Need anyone help is appriciated.

Regards,

Suresh

Hi,

Im using LO version 14.0.2.364 with Dashboard version same as yours, and it works fine with me.

you can try these options :

1. Create excel document seperately and add required connections, and click "refresh all" once before saving the excel.

2. Now open your dashboard designer and import the Excel sheet using Import->data option.

3.Next add the LO connection using Data manager, X number of connections will be automaticallly created( x= no of LO connections in your excel).

4. Change the webservice url in all the connections.

5. Add refresh button and check if you can see the LO connections there.

Thanks and regards,

Vinay
