I have successfully configured approval workflow for KM documents on a NW 7.3 Java system. However, the approval emails generated contain a link to the document with the http port (50000), not the https port configured for end-user access.
For example, approval document URL: http://hostshortname:50000/irj/go/km/docs/offline_data/file.xls
To enable approvers to access this document securely, I need to change the document URL to https and the hostname to be fully qualified.
Does anyone know where this is configured in NW 7.3?
Thanks,
Wayne
Hi Wayne,
This is the Access Link given to each item in KM Documents. For each item click on the ContextMenu -->Details.
In that new window select Settings-->Properties, then select Access Links tab you can see the Target URL for the particular item. But making url with https will support only if you have https port opened.

Resolved.
The KM document URL host name can be edited in System Administration -> System Configuration -> KM -> CM-> Global Services (Show Advanced Options) -> URL Generator Service.

Hi Nivas209:
I can see that the Access Link given to each KM document matches the document URL in the approval email. However, I need to change that base URL from the http port to the https port (443) that I have configured for end-user access. I also need to have that host name fully-qualified. I assume there is a base URL parameter change required via the Config Tool.
Thanks,
Wayne
