You never said if or what you are having problems with?

It looks like all you want is to sort on that field. Simply click the Sort button on the menu.

    • you can do just about anything with a formula in crystal, but as Don mentioned, you have to be very specific as to what the rules in the output are...

      OutPut Required

-are there 4 fields in the database that you are looking at?...i.e. for ABC

      A 1-9 9

      A 15-17 3

-why are there 2 lines for A

      - why is the first number in line 1 "1"

      - why is the second number in line 1 "9"

      - why is the third number in line 1 "9"

-why is the first number in line 2 "15"

-why is the second number in line 2 "17"

-why is the third number in line "3"

      B 6-10 5

      B 12-19 8

-why are there 2 lines for B

      - why is the first number in line 1 "6"

      - why is the second number in line 1 "10"

      - why is the third number in line 1 "5"

-why is the first number in line 2 "12"

-why is the second number in line 2 "19"

-why is the third number in line "8"

      c 20-22 3

-why is there only 1 line for C...is that because there is only 1 line for C in the data?
