    Hello,

    Please check the settings in your system according to the following

    steps:

    1. GOTO OB07 -> exchange rate type "M" -> field "Ref crcy"

    pls check whether any values. The impact of this field is that, for

    example, if you set the field as DEM and currently you want to

    translate the currency from EUR to CAD. In this situation, the

    system will first translate from EUR to DEM then from DEM CAD.

    So in OB08 you should maintain all the relevant translation, e.g.

    EUR->CAD, EUR->DEM, DEM->CAD.

    2. GOTO OBBS -> exchange rate type "M" -> field "Alt.ERT"

    pls check if there is any value in this field(alternative exchange

    rate type). If you defined an alternative exchange rate type for

    type "M", you should also maintain this exchange rate type

    in OB07. Of course, maintain all the relevant translations in OB08

    is necessary.

    Please also review the following attached note regarding for the

    customizing settings for the currency translation.

    783877 Currency translation: FAQ

    Part c) of question 2 gives information about reference currency.

    With Kind Regards,

    Ray

    Hi, Normally when we use EUR currency as per standard SAP settings we need to maintain the exchange rate for key EURX, instead of ExRt key M, try this it may resolve your problem.

    Please check the entries in OB07 and OB08 and if not present, please maintain the same. It has to be maintained both ways. EUR-INR and INR->EUR.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Saroopya.

    ensure that youhave entered a Eur to INR conversion for M type in ob08 and not the other way round.

    come out of the orignal transaction completely and restart.
