conversion of asset into material.

Hi MM Gurus,

I want to ask that is it possible to covert asset into material/ inventory, I have created material group " Asset Material " through I am able to purchase material (without entring material code, only short text is entered in PO) but to sell I have to covert that asset into material..

Hi,

it is possible for asset inventory first create a asset in AS01 in General data u can select include asset in inventory list according to that it will inventorised.

create a po in me21n with acc.assignment category A & mention the asset no,

receive the goods in migo with reference to po (here u can't find any storage location)

u can check the stock in mmbe.(here the stock will be update)

goods issue for the asset is 241m.v.type

Hi,

While creating Asset in tcode AS01 in general tab select the checkbox include Asset in inventory list this makes your Asset display in your inventory after MIGO.
