could i use the function module in my BAPI

Hi,

guys i am confused, can i use the standard function module which has not been released, in my BAPI.

BAPI is used for cross applications.

    BAPI do contain lot of function moduels inside. So you can use FM inside BAPI.

      see, if your purpose is solved by that FM then you may use it, but SAP wont support if anything goes wrong with that FM and SAP may do any change at any patch applied to your system for this FM.

      so, be careful and keep noticing.

      otherthan these you are ok to use.

    Hi Chinta,

    Develop a custom fm and use it.For which transaction you are planning to use.

    Hi Chinta

    It is not advisable to use a not released Function Module for any business purpose, as there is always a chance that, the function module may get changed. So it is better to create a custom function module and use it.
