BO designer and other BO clients not working on windows 7

Hii

I am not able to connect to any Oracle database from designer/Deski. When I hit the test button to any database connection I get the below error:

CS: DBDriver failed to load : C:\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\win32_x86\dataAccess\connectionServer\dbd_oci.dll (%1 is not a valid Win32 application.

)

Also I am successfully able to connect to all such databasess using SQL plus or SQL Developer.

My oracle client is 64 bit installed on windows 7 which is also 64 bit

BO client is 32 bit..version is 12.1.0.882

please help
