Hello Experts,
I'm trying to upgrade to our ECC to EPH4 and having many problems with Maintenance Optimizer. I just installed SM7.1. I'm getting the following errors when selecting the option"Calculate Files Automatically - Recommended".
1. Error calling SAP back end system (see long text)
Enable/Disable Project SelectionSOLMAN_SAP_BACKEND015
Diagnosis
Error calling SAP backend system:
RFC destination SAP-OSS errors: RFC connection cou
ld not be opened
RFC destination
SAP-OSS
has an incorrect user or password.
Procedure
Check the configuration of the Connection to SAP in the IMG.
Note 982045 contains information about repairing the RFC destination SAP-OSS.
(I've checked sm59 sap-oss and pass the utility -> authorization test)
2. Could not get switch framework components activation info for system SB2.
Enable/Disable Project SelectionAGS_MOPZ_PLAN_MSG014
3. No RFC destination for system SB2.
Enable/Disable Project SelectionAGS_MOPZ_PLAN_MSG013
4. User SM_SOL has no RFC authorization for function group SFW_API_REMOTE.
( checked with my ECC server and it does have the SM_SOL user account. )
Has any one upgrade to EPH4 using saint? I Don't think it's possible but just want to confirm.
thanks for your help.

For 2 and 3, check SMSY configuration is proper or not.
For 4, add authorization objects S_RFC / S_RFCACL to the user.
Thanks

Are you sure you read the Note thoroughly ? Otherwise try to put another OSS ID if you have.

No, EhPi tool is needed for it. And you need solman MOPZ to calculate and download the patches along with the stack file.
Thanks
