Issue with Transport

All,

I have done some GL mapping config (maintain records) in our customizing client in Dev. This config was locked in a transport.

After I moved the transport to QA, the records did not move. I tried to re-import the transport twice but still the records are not moving.

Any help on this is highly appreciated.

Regards,

Salil

Hi,

According to my knowledge, before trying to transport G/L accounts across clients, you must first transport the Chart of accounts. The chart of account does not automatically record a transport. To transport the chart of accounts, follow the menu path. Financial Accounting->General Ledger Accounting->G/L Accounts->Master Data->Transport Chart of accounts

Hope this helps!!

We already have the chart of accounts. We have also done the same thing for other verticals but only for this vertical we are facing issues.

One more thing that we observed is, the records are not moving from customization client to development client. This is something different that I have not observed in a while

Hi Vaidya,

If it is clear please ask your basis people to check the transport system.

salil,

open your TR and see its content..

thre would be a table/ view name.. again open the values in that by clicking the key icon(something like that) near the table name.. there you can see which values are present in that TR..
