Intermittent Problem End To End SSO (Refreshing Deski Reports via Infoview)

I have set-up sso on BOXI 3.1 Fixpack 3.6 using Windows AD authentication and the Tomcat/Vintela flavour of SSO using Kerberos. We also have SSO to the database setup via the Universe connection.

At times this appears to be working perfectly and at other times (completely at random) I have an intermittent problem with an end to end SSO at the SSO2DB side.

I am receiving the following error message when refreshing Deski reports via infoview :-

DA0005 Exception CS: SSO failed in CMS, contact your sysadmin for details : Single Sign-On failed because the required components have not been properly initialized. Please contact your system administrator.

The workaround to get around the issue is to log-out and log back in again which is not ideal.

Any pointers as to why this error might be happening (and why it is so random)?

I appreciate any help in assistance you could give me.
