Probably considering you have to tranpsort into a test system and finally into production system, unit test, and UAT, the total time elapsed will probably be about 16 hrs (two working days) actual time spent working on this may be lesser. Ofcourse it also depends on the number of Work Schedules you are going to create.

    • What I would normally do if I find something unusual that is against the documentation, (if I have lots of time that is), I would configure it without that field and test it - In this case, it would mean, creating a workschedule without the Sickness Indicator, assign it someone, give him some sick leave run time evaluation(if relevant) and payroll, and see whether it is impacting anything. If no impact is found we safely leave it out.

In short - read documentation, get help from sdn but after all is done, test for yourself and confirm that what you have been told is correct..
