Partner's address was changed manually - SPL Screening Error

Hi Guys

A quick one.

While transferring documents from feeder system to GTS, the document is being transferred correctly, but when the SPL screening is taking place we get the below problems

SPL screening for partner 512720, partner role BA

Partner's address was changed manually

Partner's address has been identified as an entry in a boycott list

SPL screening for partner 512720, partner role LF

So baiscally even though the Partner is not present in the Blacklist because of the message of being changed manually, it triggers them into a Blacklist.

Any idea why this is happening, and what we can do to resolve this?

Hello Carl,

blocking manually changed address during creating/changing of document is standard feature of GTS. It avoids situation when user processing sales order can ship goods to "bad guy".

When user wants to change partner he should change in master data, not really in order otherwise it will get blocked. Then GTS user need to analyze.

This is coming from customizing, Control Settings for "Sanctioned Party List Screening" Service; when you select (F2) your Legal reg. there is a setting "Check logic for Docs" in your case New check of Changed Address.

So what do you suggest we do for Initial transfers then?

Do we change the check logic, when we load the documents and then revert the settings back once the load is finished?

Hi Carl,

Can you check if you are using

- Synchronous or asynchronous screening of documents ( should be at the line item level activation config : SAP Compliance Mgmt => General Settings )
