Hi all,
we are developing a Webdynpro application connected to an R3 system version 4.7
The application is working fine in English. The issue we have is that when we define the language as Finnish (in the IE browser, in the application locale also), the field label is always displayed in French. It seems that it's linked to the R3 system that may be looking for the first letter of the language to decide on the language. Hence Finnish is FI, thus starts with F, then displaying french labels. Looking in the R3 system, we found that U corresponds to Finnish. Thus if the browser language is set to something starting with U like Ukrainian or Uzbek, the labels are indeed in Finnish.
Since we don't want to ask our customer to set its broswer language to Uzbek in order to have its application in Finnish , does anyone have an idea on what can be done?
We also tried to set up some *_fi.xlf files, but this doesn't seem to work.
Regards,
Cedric
Sorry I can't help but I have the same problem and even if we add a xlf file to the webdynpro it still fetches German instead of Swedish. I have created a message as I think its a bug because it only happens on search helps.... Can anyone from SAP help us here ??
Regards,
Paulo
