SNP Dependant Demand Not transferring to R/3

Dear Friends,

I have a situation where PPDS dep demand is getting transferred to SAP R/3 but SNP dep demand is not getting transfer to R/3.

But all the SNP preqs are getting transfer to R/3.

I checked running CCR report it shows no error but there are huge Pres in R/3 but no demand.

Please suggest what could be the root cause.

Regards,

Pankaj

Hi Pankaj,

When you talk about Preqs, it means "external procurement", so you can't link it to the dependent demand which would exist linked to some planned order, and so is linked to "in-house production". These are 2 different ways of procurement to meet the demand.

You mentioned only about dependent demand not going to R/3. Are your SNP planned orders going to R/3?

Only when the SNP planned orders reach R/3, you could next look at the dependent demand for the components linked to the finished product.

Let me talk about the full cycle.

You created production version in R/3 and CIFed it to APO, so you got PDS or PPM in APO. This way, APO and R/3 would be in sync (finished product would get linked correctly to the components in both the systems).

In SNP SPRO settings "Configure Transfer to OLTP Systems", you would NOT have selected the option " No SNP Planned Orders", so that your SNP planned orders could go to R/3.

In SPRO settings "Maintain Distribution Definition", you would have maintained publication type as "in house production" for the locations for which you want the planned orders to be sent to R/3.

Based on the above settings, your planned orders can go to R/3 either online or periodically depending on your settings, and you would also see the dependent demand available in R/3.

Hope this helps.

If any more doubts, please let me know.

Thanks - Pawan

Dear Pankaj

The dependent demand comes only when planned orders of parent materials are transferred to ECC System and the particular Production version exists in ECC on which planned orders got created in APO.

Run CCR in APO For Planned orders of parent material only.

This may solve your problem

Hi Pankaj,

Dependent demands are demand elements, which created and planned in APO will not transfer to ECC. If you want to plan the dependent demands in ECC only, it will be created in ECC when the header material's receipt transfered to ECC. In this case also, the MRP type of the header material must be 'X0'.

Please check and revert.

Hi Pankaj

This question is more appropriate for the other forum for DP and SNP.

Please check the configuration under SNP -> Basic Settings -> Configure Transfer to OLTP system. Also please execute a livecache consistency check and check Integration Model set-up for planned orders.

Thanks,
