Message no. ADPMPS059 : Error when saving the orders throught T code ADPMPS

Hi Experts,

We are encountering one error message while assigning PS reference to Work order through Transaction ADPMPS.

When we assign Order to perticular activity and try to save it we are getting the message "Message no. ADPMPS059 : Error when saving the orders ".

If any body came across same issue and can help me in this,

Try replicating the scenario using WSP1 transaction.

Hi SN,

I am not sure about how to run this.

When I tried to execute the transaction WSP1 I got the message "Transaction WSP1 does not exist"

Please help to explein.

I assume you have activated " log_eam_pom " component and steps

Execution can be done in the following way:

- Order and network creation for revision: Select the revision (s) and press the "create order" button in

the revision work area.

- Assign orders to project automatically (PM/PS reference element) or manually. In case of automatic

assignment press the 'order assignment to project' button and choose 'assign to project with PM/PS

reference'. In case ofmanual assignment press the 'order assignment to project' button and choose

'assign to project manually'. The system will branch to transaction ADPMPS where the orders can be

assigned by drag and drop into the project element.

- Creating orders using parallel processing: Enter the revision and planning plant in WPS2, set the

check box for 'creating orders' and enter the package size and server group. Choose "Execute" (F8).

- Assigning orders to projects using parallel processing: Enter the revision and planning plant in

WPS2, set the check box for 'assign orders to project'. Choose "Execute" (F8).

- To display data in the planning board, choose 'select' in the tool bar of planning board. Enter

selection criteria in the selection screen and choose "execute"

- To display data in the planning tree, choose 'select' in the tool bar of the planning tree. Enter

selection criteria in the selection screen and choose "execute"

- Schedule revisions: Select the revision (s) and choose 'Schedule' in the revision work area.

- Change revision status: Select the revision (s) and choose 'Change Status' in the revision work area.

Assign the orders to a project Using transaction ADPMPS

Check

- WBS Element field on the 'Location' tab page should contain the WBS related detail

- Network activity to WBS structure mapping

Hi SN,

We are using ADPMPS for asignment, but due to this error WBS is not getting saved in location tab.

Activity-Network-WBS assignment is already there and its correct too as we are able to perform with same type of data in EHP4 system.

Hi Carlos,

Thanks for your support. But my issue is different than this note.

In our case there is no dump and this is even happening during the single assignment and its just a intemittent issue not coming all the time. Currently we are using ECC 6 EHP5, and i also checked but not able to find this ssue in EHP4 system.

So till now i can just say that its coming in our all EHP5 systems.
