what do you mean by "not copying correctly" ?

not at all, or do the words used in the instruction change?

the text in sto header is = BACKFILL WITH 56487 56486 56488

the text in delivery header is = BACKFILL WITH 56485 56489 56576

so you are saying the shipping instruction is just a long text ?

And you believe that SAP changes long texts itself?

are you certain that the texts were not changed manually either in PO after delivery creation or directly in the delivery?

how is the text copied from STO to delivery in your system?

there are a some alternative options, which need to be implemented before a text copies from STO to a delivery.

However, if it is not an error in a routine developed by an ABAPer (reading text from the wrong STO), then a text certainly does not exchange its content when getting copied.

Maybe you should check whether the text is maintained in the customer master and does default from there instead of coming from the STO.

my STO number is not available in STXH and STXL tables

Any long text is stored in those two tables.

go into your text in the PO.

click the button for text editor, this will take you to the SAPscript editor.

There choose from menu GOTO > Header

Here you get the keys you need to find the text in STXH and STXL table.

(you cannot see the text itself with SE16, as it is is stored in a cluster, you have to use function modules to be able to read the text: function module READ_TEXT)
