Unable to see batch management check box

Hi All,

For one of the material in plant, I can see batch management chcked under purchasing view in MARC table. But, When I go to change or display mode of material master I do not see that FIELD at all....

I like to remove that check in change mode but that field dissapeared. pls help.

Hi,

goto goto spro-Logistics - General-Material Master-Field Selection-Maintain Field Selection for Data Screens(execute)

check the field sel.group MARA-XCHPF.

& check material type what is the field reference according to that u can check it in the above path.

Is there any other way without touching config?

I think this is Tricky, You are alowing user to create a material with batch management active . But not alowing him to change.

You have give both options or remove them .

If it is a client requirement to keep this field open while creation not during change . Create a correction program to modify the MARC- batchmangement field and give this report access to only few important users.

Hi Gupta,

We can't view it unless we activate that field in Field selection group. First check the field status of that particular field in your field selection group. If it is active, we can think of any other alternatives.

you can see your batch management indicator in MM02 Or MM03

select view general plant/store 1

Hi,

Check in OMSR & OMS9 for the field MARA-XCHPF is in suppressed mode for your Material type.
