Hi,

I Know all the 5 stages that go with ASAP, but couldn't get clarity on at what stage Dev isto be installed, and at what stage Qty is installed and what stage PRD is installed.

Secondly what are the activities other than installation in terms of Basis in these 5 stages

and it would be helpful if you let me know post activities after ASAP prior to support stage.

Thanks

Karthik

Karthik first of all to make you aware of ASAP Methodology there are currently 6 phases of ASAP & not 5..

Run is the new phase added recently in ASAP..

Secondly you need BASIS Resource in all the phases..His mode of activities will be changing according to the phases..

Have a look @ this below link for better understanding.

Hope this will resolve all your query..

Hi

What i understood is you are looking for area specific to your role in your project ..am I right?

to do this you can goto

rmmain tcode

goto SAP Menu ->Settings>filer>roles

this wil give you pop up with all the standard or available roles so you can choose Technical admiistrator or technical consultant etc

after this you can see the filterized view for that role and other nodes will be hidden

....in short you can choose the role you are playing and then filter it as per requirement

hope query solved

Hi,

Quick Sizing should be done before starting of the project. Because on the basis of output of quick sizer, client will procure the hardware.

In first, you should install sandbox system where functional people will do all the testing and configuration. Then you can install development, quality and production system. You can install all system in once or you can also install it as per your functional team requirements.

Thanks
