Dear All

I just wanted to clarify if 3000 is the Company Code delivered by SAP for US? Can I have some different Company Code for Country USA?

Yes you can have, SAP provides some settings as part of standard delivery, the main purpose is to enable copy from a standard to customer specific value. By doing a copy it will inherit all the properties associated and is a recommended practice followed.

If you want to go with different company code then contact FICO consultant and he will create it as per your requirement.

Hi Sammy,

This is a standard provided for US but you could have the company code of your choice with the similar characteristics. COPY of 3000 would be the ideal choice.

This is the Standard Company Code provided by the SAP.Usually Company Code will be created By the Finance people and u have to assign C.code to the P.Area.

Still u can copy the standard C.Code 3000 and Customize into our own c.Code in V_T001
