HI,
We are currently creating corporate accounts and assign contacts to these. I have a couple of questions around the contact person relationship address data:
- If the corporate account address subsequently changes do the related contact persons work addresses also get updated with the new company addres? If not what is the process, do I need to create a new work address for each contact to the same corporate account using the new address?
- Is there any way to prevent the account telephone/email details from updating onto the contact person relationship? Preferably we'd populate these details with the contact person details as these are generally the same across all relationships the contact may have.

Hello Kevin,
Workaddress of contact person is the address of account, not the contact person. Additionally, the communication data of contact person will inherit the one belong to corresponding address of the account by default.
If Account has more than one addresses.The dropdown list is available when contact is created.
Unfortunately the existing address assigned will stay in read-only status, this is a known issue. However you can use following
workaround to select alternative address:
1. Open contact details, and navigate to "Work Addresses" assignment
block.
2. Click button "New" to create a new work address.
3. Select the existing Account. At this point, you can select other
address and fill related fields.
4. Tick the flag for "Main Address" to make the address to be the
standard one.
5. From now on, user can switch among different work address by switch
on/off the flag "Main Address".
When We try changing the data under the work address of the
contact the change is reflected in the table ADR2.
There is no change expected in the table BUT051 as this is not a
relationship specific data
If you want to change contact person relationship then you have
to do it from Account Side.

Hi,
1) If, you change corporate account address details, same will be changed in contact person's work address.
2) For the second point, if I get your question correctly, then as standard, it's not possible to prevent corporate account's email/telephone details from copying into contact person's work address. If you want to copy contact person's details into these fields, you need to do some development.
