Uploading documents without overwriting option in KM

Is there any chance for hiding/disable the option of "rewrite document" for uploading documents in KM...

This is a known issue. Before making any comment here, can you let me know the SP levels, versions etc. and how you are trying to upload the document.

In addition to what Mahesh said, I would say you should be on the latest patch level to enable versioning without development.

It has been noticed in the past for various KM releases, latest patch levels enabled versioning. If not you will have to go through

development /config.

Hi Sai,

Thank you for your help...I posted this forum because I did not find any standard solution. We are on SP 18 (old one, I know) NetWeaver 7.00, OS Windows Server 2003. The way I am trying to upload files is the standard one. I made one iView (Uploading files to KM.... com.sap.km.cm.upload ... Standard iView), page, role and assigned to the end user. I am looking for standard solution, without doing any development.

I am not really sure if this will work or not. Can you try with versioning ON for the folder ?
