Material PO text

Hi all,

I have an issue, when the user deletes the Material PO text from the PO(in ME22N) and displays again the PO(in ME23N) , the text is displayed again.(The Material Po text comes from the material master)

DOes anyone have an idea?

Yes when you give material master in PO then,system automatically take material description

IF you want you can replace it in PO

Hi,

Yes the Material PO text in the PO line item comes from the material master. Go to MM03 and select the Purchase Order Text tab to see the details of the texts maintained for the material and plant combination. Once the text is maintained here, it will be available in all the open PO's for that material.

If the user wants to get rid of the material text, then it should be removed from the material master only, or if you wish to delete from some of the PO's then, you have to individually select those PO using ME22N and delete the texts.

Hi,

As your saying he item text is flowing from the Material master PO text, then you should better remove from material master itself to not flow in PO...if you go on deleting in PO again it defaults from MMR.

Hi,

PO text can come from Purchasing Info. record., if specified in it!

Check in ME13

Go to PO at ME23N and go to menu environemnt and select Header changes and identify the changes
