Track the changes to the Purchasing groups

Hi Experts,

Can we track the changes made to the Purchasing groups? Or when we are making the changes the history will be lost?

Thanks in advance,

Regards

If you can make the changes to purchasing group in PO you can get change history in PO header details..If you do changes in configuration level then you need to ask Basis team to find out the changes.

Hi,

To track any changes IMG tables in SCU3, first that table should be activated for recording change logs. First ask your Basis to activate table T024, then you can track the change log.

Go to -.> OLME -> Create Purchasing group -> MENU -> Utilities -> Change Logs

Enter Analysis period i.e Start Date, time to end date, time

you can also use t code SCU3

Push Evalute logs.

Input 'T024' in Customizing Object/Table

Enter Analysis period i.e Start Date, time to end date, time

It is important that you give some details. Where and which document you see it is changed? Or are you referring to master data? Regards.

Hi,

I have changed the description and the fax no: of the purchasing group. Now I have moved all those changes to the production system.

Now we want to track the changes we have done during a time period (say 3 months).

When I am cheking for the change log in the dev system, its showing the changes I have made, where as when I am trying the same in Production I am unable to view it.

That is done by transport. You can't track change log. You can check by transport request.

use SE03 -> Find request, or SE09, SE10.

the changes were done in dev system, hence you can see the change log in the dev system.

changes imported thru a transport to a production system are not written into the change log of the production system.

is it that the table logging is switched off in the client?

refer note 1916 if you need more data on logging
