I am facing one issue and need your expert suggestion / guidance. The requirement is related to costing and MRP run. The issue is as follows:
I have a batch size which is fixed - 100 Kg and is produced using input of 100 Kg. My production yield is 95 % i.e. there is known loss of 5 %.
Requirement is that during costing run the cost should be calculated in such a way that considering 100 Kg input the output is 95 Kg and the no. of planned orders generated during the MRP run (say for 500 Kg requirement) should be 5 Nos. and when on shopfloor these planned orders are converted to process orders, the input quantity should be same i.e 100 Kg of input giving 100 Kg of output.
Pl. guide me with detailed steps how I can acchieve this.
Will Assembly scrap or operation scrap help in this regards? I tried to work out this with both the options but didnot get the required results. Pl. suggest.
