CR2008: Windows 7 x64. This program cannot display the webpage.

Version 12.3.0.601

Application is installed in two locations: Windows 7 PC and Citrix server.

No error message on Citrix server; start page loads fine.

Since both use the same internet connection/firewall, the reason must lie elsewhere.

User on PC has admin rights.

Tried re-installing - no change.

Program has been added to Windows 7 Firewall Allowed Programs in Domain Networks, no change.

Toggled Show Start Page, no change.

http://www.businessobjects.com added to trusted sites in I.E. 9, no change.

Can you help please?

    Hello,

Need more info, please explain why/how CR Designer is displaying in a WEB Page?

Did you write an application using the SDK or is this the Start Page when you first open the Designer?

I don't see any page either so there may be a problem with the Home page again. I'll let the Person who manages the Third Party Site there is a problem again...

    Thanks

    Don

Finally traced the problem, though I don't know how it occured.

3 files were missing from the Start Page\en directory:

      htmlpreviewconfig.html

      offlinestart.html

      start.html

An application repair put them back and now all is well.
