stuck at import ABAP, waiting xx minutes for DDL template file DDLADA.TPL

Hello SAP Gurus!

I'm trying to install Systemcopy AS ABAP, but it stuck at the phase 18 of 28 Import ABAP (central system / based on AS ABAP). Message on bottom of in task process window : 'waiting XX minutes for DDL template file DDLADA.TPL in dump directories ....

System: Windows Server 2008 64bit / 5GB

Database: MaxDB 7.6.03.10 ist installed and running

there are no error messages.

    Hi,

    Could you please check of this file is present ?

    "waiting for file....in dump directory" occured because the directory chosen for the export was incorrect.

    For ABAP we needed this file structure: <export directory chosen in sapinst> -> ABAP -> DATA and DB subdirectories

    Apparently if sapinst cannot find the dump files it just waits for them. This is handy I supposed when trying to do export and import work with some overlap.
