Dear all,

I have created a repair order and get the goods back to my storage loc and created a repair request and the system automatically generated a service order in background. And i have added components in it and trying to get the quotation usindg DP80.

But it is showing error like "Create quotation for order" is not allowed (ORD 4000133 )".

Message no. BS002

Diagnosis

The transaction 'Create quotation for order' is not allowed for ORD 4000133, because no status is set to permit it.

System Response

You cannot carry out the transaction 'Create quotation for order'.

Procedure

You can carry out this transaction if you set a user status, which permits 'Create quotation for order'.

And my service order status is "REL". How to create the service order with release status "CRTD". What is the standard status profile for service order SM03.

Where to assign this in service order?

Please send me the solution.

With Regards,

C Chaitanya

Hi,

On transaction BS22 you can change the allowed or forbidden business transaction per specific System status; you can modify the status CRTD to allow this business transaction

As mentioned by PeteA . you can control via config. OIOA

Set "Release immediately" indicator

Orders of this order type are automatically assigned "Released" status when they are created. This status allows nearly all business transactions.

Dependencies

You can only use the indicator for orders that use general SAP status management.

Maintenance orders and service orders are released automatically only if they are created from maintenance calls, from a background notification, or from a sales order.

Service orders are also released immediately if they are created from a sales document item.

Try changing the Release Immediately flag on the order type (TCode OIOA)
