Is it possible to implement the transitive navigational attribute scenario in the help documentation WITHOUT reloading the cube?
Hi Manish,
I never tested your desired scenario before (this is the first time I see that!)...from help description it seems that master data chars are fed from master data infosource (with flexible update) and no reload of your cube should be requested...but this scenario it's really complex and it's better to carefully test everything...

You could also implement this scenario with only one InfoObject in the cube, without reloading the cube. But this would mean to attach T2 as navigational attribute to A. You could then generate an export data source for A and attach to the InfoObject A itself. In these update rules fill T2 as attribute of B and do not change the other attributes.
Best regards

Dear Dirk,
Thanks for your good advice!
I've been thinking a lot of transitive attributes and I'm really wondering what's the use.
I fully agree with your solution. I'd do it the same.
Can you elaborate a little bit more when you'd use the 'real' transitive attribute scenario?
Thanks in advance!
Kind regards, Harjan
