service desk to service desk connection over the internet

Hi All,

I have been trying to setup service desk to service desk connection from my solution (SAP partner) to one of our clients using the following document:

I come stuck on the IMG activity "Create the HTTP connection". I see no referrence to connection to the client over the WAN. I am convinced that section only deals with LAN connections.

Please assist by clarifying and or suggesting links that are easier to understand.

Hi,

What exactly you are stuck, you can create the RFC connection to external server, use the RFC connection type as G.

Have you read the help link note available in IMG action "Create HTTP Connection"

When I try to test the RFC connection having followed the instructions in the IMG activity to " Create HTTP connection", I get the following error:

ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED.
